One of thee first songs done when Charlie came on deck. And thinking about it, this might be thee first song done when Charlie got on deck. Before Chuck, a lot of the sound was more hip hop, and after her it became more "band", not just rock, but band in general. The sound opened up a lot. Do you hear that guitar? How could the sound NOT open up?! Basically what happened in this song is, Charlie would crash out in the library. We have a library in the asylum. So she would crash out in there, had a guitar in there, amps... I mean, other than the ghosts, it's HER library, which is cool. So she can do what she wants. Everyone has their own space here. Anyways, so yeah, she'd be in the library, riffing.... Tyy would be doing whatever, but when he heard it it was like Slikk to a Fairy-tale Princess call song... he'd just drop everything and hit the drums. They would keep the doors open to hear each other, and when it gelled enough, they'd both show up like, "Hey, we need you. It's here. We gotta go." So Slikk and me would head to The Staxx or the Card Room or whatever, plug in, and be like, "What do we do?". Charlie would crank it, and start up and then Tyy would just come in, and the vibe in the room was so heavy and thick with funk and color and juice... A lot of times we'd forget to record stuff, so we would just schedule a block with Byrdo, and he'd come over, and record stuff for us. Show us how to do a few things when it came to mixing and recording. That was the process for a while. Someone, usually Charlie or Slikk would be jamming. Tyy or me would hear it. Then we'd work out our part in our own space, while hearing them do the same thing, and when it hit?! When it gelled? Call in the team. Like Norman Stansfield gunning for Leon, "Bring me EEEVEERRRYYYOONNNNEEEE!" and we'd jam it out. It's great. You can't beat stuff like that.
The name "Ca$h Abbey Raid" is a bit about Jesus/Yeshua in the church, flipping over tables and setting doves free so they wouldn't cry and make T.A.F.K.A.P. so sad back when he was Prince. Basically it could be some getaway music for anyone who decides to go into churches and remove all of the SALES, basically. It would be a good scene. Like when they were chasing Aladdin through the marketplace. Just running through all of the dvd and cd sales, flipping over shit, throwing product out in to the streets for people to have for free. Breaking chains and letting homeless people in so they can be a part of what's going on inside. Stealing those big hats and taking craps in them. Opening all of the windows so the sound fills the whole corner so the preacher isn't just putting on a show for the paying folk, but actually communicating with the streets. Shame the Church is a marketplace now a daze. I mean, i get it. Artists gotta eat. We should be selling music instead of just trusting that it'll get to the people it needs to get to freely, and whatever money we deserve from it we'll get because people genuinely give a shit. Faith. It'll work if you work it. Of course there's faith and there's knowing, which goes beyond belief. You can have faith in something, but it's shaky. You could know something and it's unbreakable. We know we're trying our best to paint a brighter picture with music and art, and it'll do what it do. Nothing more, nothing less. But church folk need money. God made a universe by burping, but he needs money for some reason. Of all the currency and things on the planet.. it made gold in mountains and programmed coal to make diamonds... but it desperately needs your three dollars (usd) in that gold plate that comes around with the purple velvet bottom. That plate cost more than my monthly bus pass. All this prosperity now. Like the banks are paying the preachers to preach that so the bankers Manifesto of 1892 (which is conveniently not on Wikipedia, and also came conveniently some 30 odd years after the Emancipation Proclamation) sinks in a little deeper a lot quicker. Just seems odd is all. The preachers get rich and the churches get bigger, and more people go in, and when they come out it's the same sin only twice the poverty and screams from Black Lives Matter, but no display and show of unity for WHY Black Lives Matter. Broken spirits. Music fixes that. Churches are in the business of treating it. Spirituality is freedom. Spiritual understanding is freedom. Even choice of religion is freedom. None of that should be sold, or even sold to people. Freedom should be free, especially since everything that's here is here for that purpose, especially consciousness. No sense in being conscious if the only thing you conscious of is how free you're not. "Freedom Isn't free... it takes folks like you and me..." Buck-o-five.
Having the Asylum is the best ever. Its a bunch of private creative spaces within a creative space, that also features a few creative joint creative spaces... if that makes any sense. A little awkward when we first started crashing there. With the abandonment and hauntings. Then the whole demolition thing, but then... the corner. And now look how much fun it is! Very productive for a bunch of clowns. It's hard to say exactly if this is thee first Charlie Jhayde on guitar song because when she came in, she came in swinging. We would just record record record, jam jam jam... it was a great time musically and creatively in general. That whole period from like maybe 2000? I don't know exactly. I didn't really think to keep track of such a thing because in the moment things were just good, so... run with it. As far as social Media, we were heavy on Myspace then. Folks loved this song there. Hey Debbie. We were pretty fresh back then too, and so there was a lot about music sites that we didn't know or care about. We were just having fun making music. We actually didn't consider "selling" music until way later, and we don't really agree with SELLING music. Rather just give it to you and if you wanna pay for it then pay whatever you want. Music means different things to different people. Some think it's trendy and cool. Others find parts that fill or patch holes in their life and living. If it's a party drug to you, i'd have no problem taking your money, but if its a song that reminded you of something in your childhood, or you were dealing with some issues and it helped get you thru, no i don't want your money, I want you to be well. It's a thing we all agree on as far as music as a business. Guess we're not good business people. Hey, we're cartoon clowns... we're not good "real" people anyways. But dig it, as far as lyrics, there ain't none, but still there's this lovely picture which is the song/track art on the bandcamp page (where you can download it).
Hey, here's the Bankers Manifesto of 1892. Not as entertaining as the Willie Lynch Letter, but a pretty good read.... makes you think....
The Bankers Manifesto of 1892
Revealed by US Congressman Charles A. Lindbergh, Sr. from Minnesota before the US Congress sometime during his term of office between the years of 1907 and 1917 to warn the citizens.
"We (the bankers) must proceed with caution and guard every move made, for the lower order of people are already showing signs of restless commotion. Prudence will therefore show a policy of apparently yielding to the popular will until our plans are so far consummated that we can declare our designs without fear of any organized resistance. The Farmers Alliance and Knights of Labor organizations in the United States should be carefully watched by our trusted men, and we must take immediate steps to control these organizations in our interest or disrupt them.
At the coming Omaha Convention to be held July 4th (1892), our men must attend and direct its movement, or else there will be set on foot such antagonism to our designs as may require force to overcome. This at the present time would be premature. We are not yet ready for such a crisis. Capital must protect itself in every possible manner through combination ( conspiracy) and legislation. The courts must be called to our aid, debts must be collected, bonds and mortgages foreclosed as rapidly as possible.
When through the process of the law, the common people have lost their homes, they will be more tractable and easily governed through the influence of the strong arm of the government applied to a central power of imperial wealth under the control of the leading financiers. People without homes will not quarrel with their leaders.
History repeats itself in regular cycles. This truth is well known among our principal men who are engaged in forming an imperialism of the world. While they are doing this, the people must be kept in a state of political antagonism.
The question of tariff reform must be urged through the organization known as the Democratic Party, and the question of protection with the reciprocity must be forced to view through the Republican Party.
By thus dividing voters, we can get them to expand their energies in fighting over questions of no importance to us, except as teachers to the common herd. Thus, by discrete action, we can secure all that has been so generously planned and successfully accomplished."
Revealed by Congressman Charles A. Lindbergh, Sr. to the U.S. Congress sometime between 1907 and 1917.
Edward M. House: to Woodrow Wilson 1912
“[Very] soon, every American will be required to register their biological property in a national system designed to keep track of the people and that will operate under the ancient system of pledging. By such methodology, we can compel people to submit to our agenda, which will effect our security as a chargeback for our fiat paper currency. Every American will be forced to register or suffer being unable to work and earn a living. They will be our chattel, and we will hold the security interest over them forever, by operation of the law merchant under the scheme of secured transactions.
Americans, by unknowingly or unwittingly delivering the bills of lading to us will be rendered bankrupt and insolvent, forever to remain economic slaves through taxation, secured by their pledges. They will be stripped of their rights and given a commercial value designed to make us a profit and they will be none the wiser, for not one man in a million could ever figure our plans and, if by accident one or two should figure it out, we have in our arsenal plausible deniability. After all, this is the only logical way to fund government, by floating liens and debt to the registrants in the form of benefits and privileges. This will inevitably reap to us huge profits beyond our wildest expectations and leave every American a contributor to this fraud which we will call “Social Insurance.” Without realizing it, every American will insure us for any loss we may incur and in this manner, every American will unknowingly be our servant, however begrudgingly. The people will become helpless and without any hope for their redemption and, we will employ the high office of the President of our dummy corporation to foment this plot against America.”
THE BANKERS’ MANIFESTO OF 1934
